Ulster Colleges Camogie All Stars Galore and Succees For St Louis Kilkeel Camogs With The Town Ladies On Board

*Last week we had “reasons to be cheerful”. I never finished the last line. It is simply “one, two, three”. This week it is more than appropriate to add the line in. During the week the Ulster Colleges for Camogie announced its All Star list for 2015. In any given All Star list you would be happy and honoured to receive a single award. That would be reflection enough for the work being done in a club. When it was announced that three of our club players received awards, you can imagine the delight especially for our club camogie coaches. Congratulations to our   club players Anna Rogan, Catriona Caldwell and Nicola McCabe on picking up the awards. These are wonderful accolades for our three young ladies who work particularly hard in their chosen sport. You will always get out of it what you put in. This bodes well for the future and an excellent reflection on the girls their team mates and coaches.

*Accolades just keep continuing to rolling in for our young Camogie players. Well done to Clare Cleland, Megan O’Boyle, Sorcha McCartan and Katie Smyth who were part of the St Louis Kilkeel team that won the Ulster League Shield Camogie Final last week. They beat St Patrick’s Dungannon. As it is customary with Sorcha she popped up with a decisive goal to help her school win the final. Well done to all our young ladies and St Louis.
