1. All games in each section plus quarterfinals shall be of 8 minutes each half with a two minute interval (5 team groups shall be 6 mins each half). Semi-finals and final, 10 minutes each half. Should there be any late withdrawals Group One teams and times may be altered.

2. A panel of 9 players must be registered with the organizing committee upon arrival at the check in point. Teams may not select outside this panel.

3. The complete panel may be used for any particular game. Substitutions can be made as often as wished, but only with the consent of the referee/sub umpire at a stoppage 'in play, and only from the centre point of the sideline and not from the endlines.

4. Players will not be allowed to pass the ball backwards while they are in their own half on the field of play, I.e., up to the halfway line, or pass the ball back over the halfway line.

5. All other normal G.A.A. rules shall apply.

6. There will be four/six groups with four/five teams in each section. They will play each other on a league system, 2 points for a win 1 point for a draw.

7. In the event of two or more teams tieing for either of the qualifying positions in a group, the team with the best scoring difference shall go forward to the quarter-finals.

8. The winners and runner-up from each group shall go forward to the round 4 quarterfinals, which shall be on a knockout basis.

9. In the event of a draw in the round 4 or quarterfinals or semi-finals, 3 minutes each way extra time shall be played. For the final 5 minutes each way extra time.

10. Teams taking the field late shall forfeit the match.

11. Colour clash, one side, on the toss of a coin shall wear Castlewellan colours.

12. Any outstanding points not covered directly by these rules will be subject to the ruling of the organizing committee, whose decision on all matters shall be final and binding on all participating teams.
