The Club function Hall and Committee rooms are available for private bookings and are currently used by many local cultural and charitable organisations, as well as many neighbouring Clubs. Above is a picture taken before a wedding in the Hall in 1998. Below are some of the events, which take place on a weekly basis.

• Mondays - Craft Classes 7.00pm to 9.00pm in Main Hall
Club Committee meeting at 8.30pm in Committee room

• Tuesday - Bowls practice nights 7.00pm in Main Hall

• Wednesdays - Irish Dancing 6.30pm to 8.30pm in Main Hall
Kick-boxing/ladies training 8.30pm to 9.30pm in Main Hall
Irish Language Classes 7.00pm in Committee Rooms

• Thursdays - Bowls matches 8.00pm in Main Hall

• Fridays - Bingo 9.00pm in Main Hall

In addition the over 55s club meet the 2nd Tues of every month for social evening including supper, music and dancing, 8.00pm to 11.00pm. There is no cover charge and transport, supper and music is provided by Castlewellan GAC. There is also the annual Xmas dinner for senior citizens provided by the Club free of charge to all local senior citizens in December each year.

The Newcastle/Castlewellan Branch of Comhaltais Ceoltari Eireann uses the Club facilities on numerous occasions throughout the year for concerts, workshops and fund-raising ventures. Glor Na Gael also run weekly Irish Language classes in the Clubrooms throughout the winter months. The Bunscoil and the local Nursery Group avail of the Club facilities for fund- raising nights, as do many other local organisations both cultural and charitable.
