Weekly Notes Sunday 12 April 2015.

Congratulations to our senior footballers who won the Malachy Murdock  Tournament, run by St Mary’s GAC Burren.  They beat a determined Crossmaglen Rangers team in the final, who had defeated The Town during the groups stages, coming out eventual winners with a 2-9 to 0-14 scoreline.  Best for The Town were Liam Mc Kibben, Cahal Crilly, Daniel Morgan, Kevin Duffin & Finbar Toner.

Outdoor coaching for U6, U8 and U10  boys and girls in all codes will commence in St Malachys Park on Saturday April 18th at 10am.  We would ask everyone to have paid there annual club membership on line before April 18th. There will be an opportunity to pay membership on Saturday morning April 18th. We would ask all children to bring indoor and outdoor shoes and encourage everyone to wear club colours. We would request all U6, U8 and U10 coaches from all codes to be at the meadow at 9.45am on Saturday morning. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning and especially welcome any new members.

On Saturday April 25th Castlewellan and Annsborough Angling Club invite any interested juvenile members (U18) from our Club to attend an afternoon of free fishing from 2pm to 5pm at Wrights Lough on the Ballylough Road. U10’s should be accompanied by an adult. All you need to do is turn up at 2pm and all the equipment will be supplied free for the afternoon. Good fishing is guaranteed.

Best Wishes to all our juvenile teams and their coaches as they embark on the new season. We hope that it is an enjoyable season for everyone. We would encourage the parents of our juvenile members to attend their games and to help out with transport to away games.
